DAY 1 Arrival in Vilnius.  Private transfer to the hotel.  Check-in. Welcome dinner.

Overnight  in Vilnius „Novotel Vilnius“ 4 * or similar. 

 

DAY 2 City tour of Vilnius, capital of Lithuania for more than 600 years. The tour includes : St. Peter  and Paul’s church, Catherdral Square, St. Ann and Bernardines’ Church, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orhtodox Church of the Holy Spirit, Town Hall Square and Vilnius University  with St. John’s Church. Afternoon trip to Trakai ( 25 km from Vilnius), former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit  tke insular  castle of the 14th century, erected on a small island in the lake Galvė. For ages it served as a defensive structure and residence of Lithuanian Grand Dukes. Overnight  in Vilnius „Novotel Vilnius“ 4 * or similar. 

 

DAY 3 Morning Depature to Klaipėda. Sightseeing tour of Klaipeda -  Lithuania‘s third biggest city – a historic seaport and resort. In the Old Town of Klaipeda see the Theatre square and the statue of a girl Ann from Tharau, numerous old streets and buildings, Linden street with the old post- office, Mazvydas Sculpture Park. Later - visit to Kretinga Museum. The exhibitions represents the  palace culture, folk art, cross-making craft, archaeology and history. The museum is famous for it's Winter garden where visitors are fascinated by the uniqueness of plants from exotic countries. In the park the alleys of chestnuts and lime remind us of the great history of the family. Overnight in Klaipeda. „Radisson Blu Hotel Klaipeda“4* or similar. 

 

DAY 4 Full day visit to the Curonian Spit. Climb to the Hill of Withes decorated with numerous wooden sculptures based on Lithuanian legends and folk tales of Juodkrante. Stop at a bird sanctuary. Drive to Nida (30 km), a small old fishermen village famous for its majestic sea  shore sand dunes, Thomas Mann‘s summerhouse and old ethographic cementery. Vetrunge (weathervane) painting workshop. Get to know the story of vetrunge – a unique example af ancient Lithuania‘s fishermen carving and Baltic folk art, which has no analogues  in the world! Meanwhile paint your own vetrunge or take it with you as a souvenir ro decorateback home. Overnight in Klaipeda. „Radisson Blu Hotel Klaipeda“4* or similar. 

 

DAY 5 Depature to Riga with en route stop at the Hill of Crosses – unique pilgrimage place worldwide, where people for couple of centuries keep putting crosses. You can find more than 200 000 of them and leave your own too. From here the Pope John Paul II blessed all people of Lithuania and Christian Europe. Next stop at Rundale Palace – one of the most outstanding monuments of Baroque and Rococo styles in the Baltics.

Afternoon arrival to Riga, the capital of Latvia. Overnight in Riga "Europa Royale Riga"4* or similar. 

 

DAY 6 Morning walking tour in the Old Town of Riga. Enjoy yhe beauty of the ancient Hanseatic city, while strolling through the cobble-stone, picturesque streets of the Old Town. In Old Riga you will see: Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, The House of Blackheads, the Cat House, Old City Walls, Old Riga Castle and much more. Free afternoon to visit cozy restaurants, cafes, bars and souvenir shops. Overnight in Riga "Europa Royale Riga"4* or similar. 

 

DAY 7 Morning departure  to Sigulda. Sigulda,  Krimulda and Turaida Castles Tour. See the old castles of Sigulda and Krimulda together with the Turaida Museum Reserve. Drive through deep forest to Gutmana  Cave and enjoy a spectacular landscape. The route then takes us to a Soviet bunker hidden underneath a health spa of sorts -  Ligatne rehabilitation centre. It is a formerly secret government bunker built in 1980s from where the Soviet administrative affairs were supposed to be kept running in case of nuclear war. The bunker is a well-equipped facility spanning 2000 square metres. Its secrecy grading was removed only in 2003, and all of the original furnishings have been retained. Overnight in Sigulda Hotel "Sigulda" or similar. 

 

DAY 8 Departure  to Tallinn with a stop in Parnu.  Pärnu is a historical beautiful resort seaside city with a small harbour in the South-Western part of Estonia. White sandy beaches, shallow waters, rich cultural scene and numerous cafés, restaurants and nightclubs – there is plenty to see and do. Arrival to Tallinn. Check-in. Overnight  in Tallinn  "Radisson Blu Hotel Olumpia"4* or similar. 

 

DAY 9 Half day city tour of Tallinn. City tour of Tallinn features: The Old Town with its Town Hall Square, the Toompea Castle, 14th- 15th century Gothic Town Hall, St. Nicholas church, now housing a museum of medieval art; an old chemist’s shop; Kadrioru  Palace and Park, numerous authentic Hanseatic merchants’ houses, trip to visit Estonian ethnographic open air museum. Free afternoon to explore Tallinn. Overnight  in Tallinn  "Radisson Blu Hotel Olumpia"4* or similar. 

 

DAY 10 Breakfast.  Private transfer to the airport. Departure.
